How To Book An Appointment

Booking the Appointment in the Babylon App

1. Open the Babylon app.
2. Go to Appointments.
3. Select Book Appointment.
4. Verify your insurance plan, name and date of birth as it appears on your insurance card (if you’ve already done this, the app will skip this step.)
5. Select an appointment type.
6. Enter the reason for the appointment (this can be a symptom, condition, or another reason, such as needing to review your blood test results.)
   1. Optional: upload a photo that may help the provider understand your concerns (ex. if you have a rash)
7. If needed, request a translator.
8. Select a date and time for your appointment.

Once the appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation email and see the appointment in the "Upcoming appointments” section. Please make sure you have all notifications enabled to receive the incoming video call.

Booking the Appointment Through the Babylon Webpage

1. Go to the Babylon website. 
2. Select Member Login, located at the top right. 
3. Use the same login credentials that you created for the Babylon app. 
   1. If MFA is set up, please enter the verification code sent to the phone number associated with your account.
4. You will be directed to the home screen with the option to select Book Appointment.
5. Select who the appointment is for; yourself or a dependant. 
6. Select an appointment type.
7. Enter the reason for the appointment (this can be a symptom, condition, or another reason, such as needing to review your blood test results)
   1. Optional: upload a photo that may help the provider understand your concerns (ex. if you have a rash)
8. Select a date and time for your appointment.

Once your appointment is confirmed and booked, you will receive a confirmation email and see the appointment in the "Upcoming appointments” section in your home screen. Please make sure you have all notifications enabled to receive the incoming video call.

Note: At this time, you will not be able to review and sign the informed consent or request a translator when booking an appointment on the web page. Please use the Babylon App to complete these actions and have full access to all of the platform’s features.
