During your video appointment, the health care provider will assess whether you need a prescription.
If a prescription is necessary, the health care provider will ask for your preferred pharmacy. This will be noted in your chart for future reference. If you need to update the location, please call the Support team at 1 (800) 475-6168 and a representative will provide the new location to the clinician.
The prescription will be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice and will be available for you to pick up shortly, typically within the hour.
All prescriptions are at the clinician’s discretion and not guaranteed to be ordered. Should this scenario occur, please feel free to book an appointment with a different provider or call the support team to have the situation escalated to management.
You may need to provide proof of identification at the pharmacy to be able to collect your prescription.
*Please note that Babylon is not able to prescribe any medications that are identified by the FDA as controlled substances. If a controlled substance is needed, you may be referred to an in-person provider.
